Green Key Resources in Rockville, MD is seeking a Resident Accountant. This is a temp-to-hire or permanent role with a retirement community located in Montgomery County, MD. This role will be coordinating and overseeing funds maintained in individual bank accounts of residents of the facility. The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Write checks and process withdraws
- Execute deposits
- Obtain signatures and issue receipts
- Review NOE to ensure resources are being received and billed correctly
- Update weekly the Power of Attorney roster
- Review aging schedule and coordinate with Medicare Resident Resource accountant
- Long term care experience – 1-2 years
- Associates degree
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
