Programmer II

Location: 1655 Valley Road Wayne NJ 07470

Duration: 12 Months

Hours:  8:00am to 5:00pm          

Description:      

  • Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
  • May require an associate's degree in a related area and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.            

Additional Job Details: 

  • Provides input and support for, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.).
  • Works on application projects being developed in agile or for waterfall methodologies
  • Designs and develops user interfaces between client systems and backend via restful web services that meets various business needs.
  • Play a key role in determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; and conducting tests.
  • Design and develop applications to support payment card authorizations and settlement that meets PCI compliancy and standards
  • Handles interfaces with external Payment and other service providers ( Amex, PapPal, Adyen, Paymentech etc.)
  • Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting Java, Angular 5, SQL server applications in Linux environment built to support and streamline business initiatives
  • Experience with Agile Development, DevOps, Linux Application Development
  • Familiarity with Red Hat, Tomcat, OpenShift, SQL Server, Dual datacenter open system infrastructure
  • Proficient with Java, REST / SOAP API development ,Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, XML, Web Technologies (HTML, Java script, Bootstrap) and Linux shell scripting
  • Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
  • Familiarity with tools, TFSGIT, Jenkins, Maven, Eclipse,
