Robinson Aviation (RVA) Inc.has a requirement for a Deputy Program Manager to help manage a $500M+, 1,000+ person FAA program providing instructional services to support Air Traffic Controller (ATC) workforce training. This individual is responsible for assisting the Program Manager in overseeing and directing the activities of all field contract personnel providing support under this contract. This individual is responsible for assuming the responsibilities of the Program Manager when the Program Manager is unavailable. This individual must be located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
Candidates for this position must have demonstrated experience managing a program or organization of similar size, scope, and complexity comparable to that anticipated under this contract. The candidate must have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the management and administration of efforts of scope and complexity comparable to that anticipated under this contract.
The candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the business management field, or any other area of study comparably relevant to the management of this effort, from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have at least 15 years of experience in the management and administration of efforts of scope and complexity comparable to that anticipated under this contract.
The candidate must have prior management experience in an Air Traffic Control facility. It is desired that the candidate have experience in terminal and enroute operations. It is desired that the candidate have a PMP certification.
