We are hiring for a Medium / Heavy duty diesel technician. We are looking for a person to take the role of "Shop foreman" which is a working position. Our ideal candidate will be a self motivated worker who knows the way a shop works. We need to streamline our process to get work in, repaired and out in a timely manner. Our ideal candidate will be good with customers, and know how to properly handle addressing our staff when they need to. Bi-lingual is a big plus but not needed. We are looking to hire immediately.
Maintain the workflow of the shop
Report to any issues or safety concerns that arise with equipment, conditions, or staff
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair trucks as needed
Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on most models of heavy trucks and light duty as well
Compensation may start with a salary of $40,000/yr and up, depending on experience
Maintain customers fleets of large trucks with diesel and gasoline engines
Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance for heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment
Perform light repairs and minor electrical repairs
Perform major diesel engine repairs, in frame, and diesel overhead services
Performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles
Perform repairs on the fuel, brake, electrical and transmission systems of heavy / medium trucks
