Position Summary

We are hiring North America-based Senior CNC consultants with 7-10 years of JD Edwards CNC experience for our Managed Services team.  Reporting to one of our CNC Team Leaders – JDE Managed Services, the JD Edwards CNC Managed Services Technology Consultant will be responsible for the support of ERP JD Edwards technical foundation.  You will be responsible for all aspects of troubleshooting, maintenance, system automation and performance optimization. The CNCs on our Managed Services team also assist with occasional upgrades, as well as frequently participate in small projects like web server installations, ESU fix current projects, patching, tools release upgrade, and other tasks.

 

This role will provide day to day remote JDEdwards technical support to client end-users, Application Programmers and Business Analysts, for all releases of JDEdwards EnterpriseOne, on a variety of platforms. Customers may be hosted in the public or private clouds, or they may be on premise at their own site.   As the primary technical contact, our CNCs provide reactive support to assigned customers when support tickets are entered, as well as backup support for other team members during times of peak need.  This is a client-facing position with heavy customer interaction, so great customer service and communication skills are also a must.  You will attend and may lead regular calls with your assigned clients, including providing follow up documentation and meeting minutes.

 

We have several offices throughout the US and Canada; our JDE Managed Services CNCs work remotely from anywhere within the US or Canada.  

 

Responsibilities 

·         System Administration experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (package builds, security administration, OMW, etc.), versions 8.X-9.2, on Windows, Unix, Linux, or AS/400 operating systems

·         Strong experience with emerging/additional JDE technologies such as Orchestrator, UX One, AIS, Business Services (BSSV) and ADF 

·         Configuration, installation & upgrade experience with J2EE application servers (Websphere -Application Server, Oracle Application Server or WebLogic Application Server)

·         Understanding and general skills in the structured query language (SQL)

·         Some administration experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.) 

·         Work as an effective team member in support of the team’s goals

·         Clear, professional communication skills – written and verbal

·         Independent research and analysis skills, to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

·         7-10 years’ experience with JD Edwards software

·         JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Configurable Network Computing 9.2 Certified Implementation Specialist Certification required; must be obtained within 6 months of hire date

·         Standard work schedule during North American customer business hours (8A-5P across NA time zones.  Work schedule may require shift work, with occasional 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
