Customer Service Representative - Customer Care Agent

Customer Service Representative Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary goal is to deliver exceptional customer service.  Your first task every day will be to check phone messages and emails and respond accordingly.  Below is how your daily duties will be broken out.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take Customer Orders
  • Respond /resolve e-mails and customer tickets
  • Make out bound call to customers 
  • Make out bound calls to physician office

Phone Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones within three rings with a professional and courteous voice 
  • Smile when you answer the phone, you are the first human contact we have with our customers
  • Assist customers with orders over the phone

Customer Contact and Follow-Up:

  • Always assure the customer that you will follow-up with them, give them the time-frame to expect your follow-up and repeat your name to them.  That assures them that you are committed to your promise to follow-up and relieves them from worrying about their inquiry
  • If you do not have a resolution to the customer  inquiry by the end of the day, call the customer and let them know that you are still working on their inquiry.  Thank them for their patience.
  • Reply to emails and voice mail messages.  Issues forwarded to you by the main CS email must be resolved and logged on Customer Inquiry form along with telephone inquiries.  Inquiry Form attached.
  • Ask customer for feedback on our services

Other Tasks:

  • Research missing shipments to customers
  • Call Customers for back ordered items
  • Assist Customers with credit cards authorizations
  • Other tasks and assignments as needed by the department or company

Job Requirements

Customer Service Qualifications

  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Bilingual - Spanish is a MUST
  • PC Literate
  • Effective Time Management Skills

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 1+ year(s) previous high volume customer service experience required
  • Previous Medical Supply experience preferred
