Naik Consulting Group, P.C., is seeking a full-time Marketing & Administrative Assistant to complement the marketing department and other members of the team on a daily basis. The candidate will be assigned to the New York City location.  The qualified individual must:

  • Utilize various computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Adobe suite of programs Adobe Photoshop and InDesign experience with Adobe programs is preferred but not required
  • Have the ability to problem solve
  • Be organized and communicate effectively internally and externally
  • Possess the ability to write and proofread professional documents

About the position:  The Marketing & Administrative Assistant will report directly to the New York Office Manager in our New York City Office and will perform a variety of tasks including assisting with recruiting, marketing support, and administration assistance. Below are some of the duties you may be asked to perform:

Marketing –

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly proposal reports and spreadsheets;
  • Assist with preparing and proofreading proposals
  • Maintain proposal log and related files
  • Maintain employee resumes for proposals
  • Follow up on leads and outstanding proposals
  • Assist with reviewing websites for future work
  • Assist with preparing Constant Contact email blasts
  • Assist with the updates and review of the website
  • Assist with the planning of events when necessary
  • Assist with creating new marketing content (brochures, flyers, etc.) for various events
  • Attend selected college fairs and trade shows if required

General Administration and Recruiting –

  • Prepare correspondence and presentations as directed
  • Assist with the orientation of new employees
  • Search for potential resume needs on a job basis
  • Assist with the collection of timesheets
  • Order all supplies for the office
  • Keep inventory of all items
  • Additional tasks as requested from others such as filing, basic data entry

Experience & Skills-

  • Ability to take direction and think independently when given tasks
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience within related industries (civil engineering/construction)
  • Incredibly high level of quality, consistency and accuracy
  • Must have organizational and time management skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible; ability to shift priorities under pressure while maintaining routine follow-through on deadlines and commitments
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, but function as part of a team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or English preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing, communications or closely related field required
