Location: Conway, Arkansas, USA 72034-9501

• Skills and Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior call center experience
• Prior Medicaid or healthcare experience preferred
• Prior Medical Billing and Coding experience preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone skills
• Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in related fields
• Prior office or clerical experience
• Ability to access and retrieve information using a PC and basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
• Hours of availability required by applicants must be anytime between 6:00a.m. and 6:00p.m., Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Assists callers in a fast paced call center environment applying basic knowledge of medical billing (UB 04, CMS 1500 Claim Forms, and Dental)
• Respond to questions regarding member and provider eligibility, claim submission procedures, and claims processing
• Accurate and timely documenting and response to complex member and provider inquiries
• Identifies, prioritizes and resolves most questions and issues independently
• Escalate more complex questions or issues appropriately
• Complies with contract requirements, business unit rules and related industry and legal regulations
