Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Sales Manager. 


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with vendors and suppliers to insure exceptional service levels
  • Assign, monitor, set objectives for key accounts and sales representatives to generate sales growth
  • Provide leadership and direction for pricing proposals and strategic plans for key accounts
  • Accompany sales associates on customer calls
  • Monitor market activity, sales trends and product performance
  • Create sales plans and prepare sales strategies
  • Develop, lead, direct and evaluate a team of outside sales professionals
  • Effectively monitor and manage individual sales representatives’ budget and performance
  • Support business and sales initiatives through effective and efficient performance of self and team

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales and management experience
  • Familiarity with the local market is a plus
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups
  • Ability to lead, coach/develop and motivate individuals and teams
  • Must have valid driver’s license. Heavy travel required
