Job Description

The primary responsibility for this position is to provide excellent service to members and potential members of the Credit Union.  In addition, this position must be able to analyze member and prospective member needs and lifestyle stages in order to confidently recommend products and services that will fit their needs.   All back-office positions are multi-tasking/high volume and require the ability to make decisions within established guidelines, the willingness to work within a sales environment, and the ability to be a team player in an organization that values the spirit of teamwork.

Job Requirements

Answers all inbound calls, emails and support requests in a timely manner and takes ownership of any reported issues to drive to resolution.  If applicable, identifies and escalates calls to the proper destination for resolution.

Analyzes member and prospective member needs and lifestyle stages to cross-sell Credit Union products and services effectively and confidently.  Educates members on different options based on the member’s specific needs.

Responsible for meeting established sales goals for credit union products and services

Performs various transactions on accounts, including transfer of funds, researches member inquiries and follows up with members to ensure satisfaction.  Provides courteous and professional service to members, always maintaining a positive relationship.  May provide outbound calls to members as a follow up to their new account or loan experience and place sales calls for lead generation of new business.
