Technical Recruiter - Internship

APTUSA Inc., is seeking bright and innovative minds to join our talent acquisition team as a valued Recruiting intern at our corporate office in NYC. In this position, you will be involved in day-to-day recruiting activities, planning and strategizing how to reach the best candidates, and utilizing various resources to market opportunities available at APTUSA Inc.,. If you enjoy meeting new people, creating relationships, and helping people reach their employment goals, generate new clients and address their requirements, then this would be a perfect career we can offer you.
 

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. 3 MONTHS UNPAID INTERNSHIP. TRAINING IS PROVIDED. SUCCESSFUL INTERNS ARE GIVEN FULL TIME JOBS.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- The intern will learn effective communication skills by working with Human Resource managers.
- Coordinate with APTUSA’s Recruiting Specialist regarding recruiting needs and strategies
- Assist recruiting employees for each assigned position, screen employment applications, arranging/conduct interviews, reference checks on need basis.
- Post openings online, with professional organizations, and in other position-appropriate venues
- Review applications to evaluate whether or not applicants meet basic position requirements
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Network with industry contacts, association members, and existing employees to help build a qualified candidate pool
- Help coordinating attendance at career fairs to support recruiting goals and company branding
 
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Human Resource, Information Technology, Marketing or related field
- Good communication skills, phone and mail etiquette
- Entering Junior or Senior year in college
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to think creatively
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Understanding of social media platforms and their use as recruiting tools (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Hands on experience with MS Office Tools.
- Must have the zeal to learn emerging technologies, latest trends in HR and recruitments, connect with new clients
