Verify merchandise in each of the Company stores by conducting a physical count using a hand held scanner.This physical count is by category, sub-category and item and discrepancies are identified and tracked through IPCA, the Company stores accounting and inventory system.
Notify store manager of wrong prices and pull out-of-code merchandise.
Count and record cash, checks and food stamps in register, TACC tubes and safe.
Verify money orders, lottery ticket inventory, and bank deposits.
Verify gasoline inventory by sticking tanks and checking for water.
Perform Data Integrity Review to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
Performs interaction with Store Managers and Market Managers as required when critical site information is required to be communicated
Provides information by gathering and disseminating data and by answering questions and responding to company employee requests.
May perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.One year inventory auditing experience or retail experience in a convenience store environment required. Must be able to lift up to 25-lbs and conduct basic research.Must have a valid driver license with no major offenses and current liability car insurance.Must have reliable transportation to perform audits throughout the Region. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
