Job Requirements

Electrical Engineer

 

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering

  • Five years’ experience with industrial control systems/software design and implementation.

  • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic controls, process control instrumentation, and motion control.

  • Strong background in motion systems and integration of multiple separate sub-systems.

  • Ability to configure, design and debug PLC ladder logic and HMI programs. Must have direct experience with three of the following platforms: RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, FactoryTalk View, GE Proficy, Siemens S7, Siemens WinCC.

  • Familiarity with industrial network/communication protocols, including Modbus/Profibus, Ethernet/Ethernet/IP/Profinet, DeviceNet, etc.

  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and with minimum supervision.

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be willing to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Electrical Engineer           

 

  • Prepare detail drawings and schematics for electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic machine control sub-systems using AutoCAD.

  • Review, specify and verify use of sub-vendor components in final machine design.

  • Work with other engineers and manufacturing personnel to clarify and resolve controls problems.

  • Develop, implement and evaluate test procedures to verify machine operation meets functional and performance specifications.

  • Troubleshoot and debug industrial machine PLC and HMI programs
