Senior Accountant needed in exciting unique industry. This Senior Accountant will join a professional hard working, very talented accounting department that enjoys the casual, collaborative culture of the over all organization and works closely with other departments. This Senior Accountant will be considered a key contributor to all financial reporting and will work with all departments within the organization not just accounting. Senior Accountant Responsibilities will include:
Month-end close activities including analysis, complex journal entries and reconciliations
Process Accounts Payable (low volume)
Assistant with the transition to ASC 606 and ASC 842
Partner with sales colleagues to identify accounting considerations within complex contracts
Assist with monthly internal and external reporting package preparation
Assist with compilation of information for tax returns
Observe, suggest and implement improved processes and internal controls
Special projects and ad-hoc requests, as required.
Requirements for Senior Accountant:
Undergraduate degree in accounting
CPA or CPA candidate required
4 + years of relevant accounting experience including revenue recognition, full charge general ledger and financial reporting experience
