A Talis Group client is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant. This position is a temporary to hire position or a direct-hire position for the right candidate.
Talis Group’s client is a premier commercial land developer hiring an Administrative Assistant/ Receptionist. This position relieves the Office Manager in assisting in administrative type duties as well as assisting operations with record keeping, coordinating and tracking expenses and processing reports.
Greet and welcome visitors, assisting or directing them to appropriate person.
Answers incoming calls to office.
Mail – send and receive mail, distributing to the appropriate person.
Shipping – prepare packages for shipping and receive incoming deliveries.
Correspondence - manage correspondence via email.
Miscellaneous - Stock supply room and kitchen with necessary items.
Assist Manger of Operations, Maintenance and Security with day-to-day operations.
Organize and maintain system for maintenance equipment record keeping.
Coordinate and maintain tracking system for maintenance and grounds expenses.
Assist Manger is processing requests, end of month reports. Assist Manager to streamline all compliance testing and reports.
Two-year Associate Degree from an accredited school of higher education in a field related to business administration, or office management, or 2-5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The education requirement may be waived for a candidate with four or more year's related experience.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. The ability to write simple correspondence and reports is required. The candidate must possess the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
The candidate must have the basic skills of general mathematical computation required such as the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals is required. The ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs is required.
The candidate should be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Professional references, assessments and criminal background check is required.
