Operations Manager - Automotive Service

We are a top of the line automotive tire and full service service operation in the Austin area. Currently we are seeking an experienced well rounded Automotive General Manager to turnaround a thriving 5 store market. A Positive attitude and a STRONG DESIRE to care for customers and employees is a must.. This is a hands on position, and will involve some over night travel. 


The ideal candidate would:

  • Control costs through such activities as inventory and asset management, controlling outside purchases, implementing preventive maintenance programs for shop equipment, ensuring that quality service work is performed on customer vehicles at the first visit, and by ensuring compliance with environmental and safety procedures.
  • P&L Responsibility. Including payroll and Cost Of Goods
  • Lead all activities within an 5 store market to achieve positive sales results.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through the direction of shop staff in the performance of quality URL blocked - click to apply and maintenance services.
  • Promote the shop and its services through exceptional customer interactions.
  • Position requires strong automotive and business management training skills and a hands on approach,  
  • Have Strong Human Resource ability, including recruiting and a proven ability to drive service sales.
