This job operates in a residential community corrections facility, routinely using standard kitchen equipment such as stove, scales, mixer, dishwasher, and knives.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and taste or smell.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, and crouch.
The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds with assistance and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds with support.
Sufficient close vision is needed to be able to perform duties such as check appearance of food, use a food processor and meat slicer, measure ingredients, read, write, and take food temperatures.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time or part-time status dependent on the position hired. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Required Education, Experience or Eligibility Qualifications
High School education or equivalent
ServSafe certified (if not certified, training will be made available)
At least two years' experience as a Cook in a commercial setting
Must be able to pass a background check with the Wyoming Department of Corrections and Bureau of Prisons
