Long-Established, Ornamental steel and ironworks firm that services the 5 boroughs is seeking a Full-Time, experienced Inside Sales Representative. Familiarity in construction is a plus.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Remote position responsible for the sale of products through developing and maintaining customer relationships. - Following up on lists of thousands of former clients. - Develop new leads and opportunities for the company and rigorous follow up on proposals through all means of communication (phone and email communication). - Maintain continuous contact with existing customer base and record activity within CRM System. - Follow up on repeat orders to ensure customer orders are filled in a timely manner. - Work with the marketing team and the estimators to help identify prospects.
Knowledge and Skill: - Must have an excellent working knowledge of New York City commercial real estate market. - Sales background in B2B is preferred, with prior experience selling professional services to companies within the commercial real estate verticle, such as property managers firms, architecture/engineering firms, hospitals and industrial companies. - Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Highly motivated, enthusiastic, dependable and persistent personality. - Possess excellent phone and email communication skills as well as prior experience with a CRM system and MS Office. - Must be organized - Must be able to build and maintain relationships over the phone
Competitive Base Salary Plus Commission
Company will help with home-office setup if you do not already have one. If preferred, you can work in the office located in the Bronx.
