The Real Estate Agent and Mortgage Originator is a hybrid agent that is responsible for supporting and negotiating for clients that are buying or selling residential real estate with the capability of offering their client mortgage financing. The Real Estate Agent and Mortgage Originator may also originate purchase and refinance mortgage business that is independent of an Owning Real Estate transactions.   • Respond to inbound and initiate outbound communication with prospects and clients
  • Building relationships while rapidly responding to the needs of clients
  • Maintain a high level of communication with clients, real estate professionals, escrow officers, transaction coordinators, inspectors, and other parties involved in real estate transactions
  • Accurately record buyer and borrower data into software applications
  • Financially prescreen clients based on their employment, income, and assets
  • Analyze a client’s homeownership goals and provide guidance
  • Support and follow up with clients during their home search
  • Ensure that client’s prequalification documents are prepared prior to presenting purchase offers
  • Research property and comparable data in preparation for offer presentations and negotiations
  • Prepare Residential Purchase Agreement and associated disclosures
  • Sell and produce mortgage loans
  • Prepare and manage paperwork and disclosures for company and clients during real estate and mortgage transactions
  • Coordinate home inspections, buyer’s final inspection, and other applicable inspections
  • Arrange for delivery of keys to buyer
  • Coordinate with support staff to ensure all transaction and file requirements are met
  • Update active client files daily or as scheduled tasks deem necessary
  • Report to management and comply with production and compliance recommendations
  • Meet production numbers and goals as determined on a periodic basis
  • Valid CA Department of Real Estate (DRE) Salesperson license.
  • Valid NMLS license through the Department of Business Oversight (DBO)
  • Continue to maintain DRE and NMLS licensing in active status throughout tenure
  • Basic understanding and continuous monitoring of the residential real estate market
  • Pleasant and enthusiastic phone skills / Strong and clear communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up while methodically working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Salesforce, and experience with mortgage origination software
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Sales experience for 3+ years in Real Estate or Mortgage Industry
