Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor who wants to be part of a company that makes a difference in patient’s lives. In this position you will be responsible for the overall warehouse management, inventory control, purchasing, delivery routing, and general maintenance of products and vehicles in facilities. You will also responsible for hiring and training Patient Service Technicians and all warehouse personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages FDA Compliance and review of daily FDA paperwork
- Meets with suppliers
- Processes purchase orders
- Maintains inventory
- Performs equipment maintenance and record keeping activities
- Reviews shipping notices/invoices for accuracy
- Supervises or performs warehouse receiving/distribution activities
- Routes deliveries as appropriate to promote time and manpower efficiencies and keep records of all routing
- Conducts annual evaluation of reporting employees
- Monitors Fleet reports
- Demonstrates and performs in-services on products to other employees
- Delivers equipment in the absence of drivers
- Maintains and monitors procedures for transfilling compressed or liquid gas according to FDA guidelines
- Maintains preventive maintenance program (Equipment Maintenance Records) for all equipment lines
- Manages IOP participation
- Supervises vehicle maintenance to ensure compliance
- Supervises warehouse personnel Orients and evaluates all subordinate employees to their job responsibilities and provide ongoing in-services
- Monitors personnel and vehicle records and maintains in accordance with Department of Transportation guidelines
Employment is contingent on
- Background investigation (company-wide)

- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-3 years home medical equipment experience
- 2-3 years retail and/or HME service technician experience, or purchasing/inventory control experience
- Prior supervisory experience in healthcare business
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and train others on all equipment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Ability to multi-task along with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Communicates effectively with location employees, patients and referral sources both verbally and in writing to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
