Full-Charge Bookkeeper- Temp to Permanent - West End Richmond, VA - $24-25/hr

This is a temp to permanent position. To be successful you must be able to handle all general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including bank reconciliations, journal entries for multiple business entities, ability to run monthly reporting packages in QuickBooks and process business tax filings.

Job Duties:

• Completing bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Ensuring correct and punctual monthly, quarterly and year-end taxes and reporting
• Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules
• Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections
• Demonstrating a consistently solid understanding of various bookkeeping functions
• Practical knowledge/use of Microsoft Excel
• Quality experience with QuickBooks
• Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
