Human Resources Manager/Director, Non-Profit Organization, The Human Resources Manager/Director is responsible for all aspects of human resources management and support for 85+ member team of non-profit human services organization, including team building and support, education and training, hiring, payroll support, record keeping, health insurance, benefits tracking, employee evaluations, and general team well-being. Must have prior experience managing comparable organizations with demonstrated competency in managing and supporting multi-cultural, LGBTQ+ inclusive and diverse team working in behavioral health. Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in mindfulness based and holistic approaches to supporting behavioral health teams. Must have master’s degree in human resources and experience in managing and supporting a diverse team in the health, behavioral health and/or human services fields, excellent organizational and writing skills, and warm, patient and positive approach to learning and challenges. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Job requirements include:

Management and carrying out of all human resource functions for 85+ member team;

Onboarding of all new employees;

Implementation and management of wide array of training for all new staff and ongoing training for existing staff for basic competencies and professional development;

Together with the Directors, management of the recruitment, selection and hiring process;

Support staff relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, Foundation standards of care, and in concert with feedback and participation from Directors as needed or prescribed;

Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital;

Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization;

Maintenance of all employee files, documentation and paperwork in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, Foundation standards of care, grantor and funder requirements and other contractual mandates;

Nurture a positive working environment and develop team support initiatives and programs for team building and wellness of all staff;

Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and utilizes measurable benchmarks and goals;

Maintain pay plan and benefits programs;

Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs;

Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics;

Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
