Job Description

A large financial institution is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant for a contract to hire opportunity located in Uptown Charlotte.  This role will perform a variety of administrative tasks to support two senior managers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Using MS Office products to handle intermediate level correspondence and spreadsheets
  • Calendaring and Scheduling experience using Outlook
  • P&L Reconciliation and Expense Tracking
  • All onboarding tasks needed for new contractors and full-time team members
  • Travel arrangements
  • Handling complex and sensitive inquiries/call from external/internal sources
  • Provides support for projects as needed
  • Acts as an information source on departmental/business unit policies and procedures
  • May establish office procedures and controls 
  • May coordinate all special events or office functions
  • May direct the work of others

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of administrative support experience
  • Intermediate level MS Office experience - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can do, positive attitude
