Our Client is seeking a Customer Service R epresentative - Bilingual - English/Spanish in Boca Raton, FL.


Earn $40,000 per year at this full-time, permanent position. Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with 30 minute lunch and 2-15 minute breaks) or 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with 1 hour lunch).


Job Description:

  • Answer and/or return calls from Insureds, Public Adjusters, Attorneys, Vendors, Agents and others regarding open and closed claims
  • Respond to inquiries, answer questions and provide claim status information
  • Update claim notes documenting phone calls and what action was taken
  • Transfer callers to appropriate persons as needed
  • Review emails from Call Center regarding after-hours and evening inquiries from customers on open or closed claims; call customer and answer questions, update claim notes as applicable
  • Other duties and administrative projects as assigned
  • May have opportunity to work extended hours providing customer service assistance in the event of a catastrophe (CAT).

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
  • Must be bilingual - speak and write fluent English and Spanish
  • 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Must have Florida 440 license 
  • Experience providing customer service regarding homeowner’s insurance claims is preferred
  • Florida Adjusters 620 license is preferred
  • Good time management, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
