Job Requirements

Oversee and direct the design and installation of all systems and technology, whether design and installation is completed by in-house resources or by third party vendors.

Research and recommend software applications for use by Company to achieve business objectives.

Research and recommend third party vendors to provide IT resources. 

Coordinate and direct operation of all systems and technology.

Develop and implement all procedures for IT department.

Direct and coordinate maintenance of access codes and other data-related security controls to ensure authorized access to computers and the system wide reliability of data.

Work with other departments to plan, recommend, identify user needs, and implement systems and applications.

Coordinate and direct the integrity of the Casino operational and telephone systems.

Coordinate and direct the creation, maintenance, and storage of computer tapes, disks or other electronic storage media containing data relevant to gaming operations.

Direct the work of two or more employees, including but not limited to recommendations as to hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status, training and developing staff, preparing periodic performance appraisals, making compensation recommendations, establishing work schedules, and determining and delegating all work assignments to subordinate personnel.  

Proactively identify problems relating to IT and telecommunications systems and functions and communicate those problems to executive management with recommendations for corrective action.

Responsible for ensuring all documentation in regards to configurations and system changes including passwords are done immediately.

Communicates any IT related issues to superior immediately.

Available by phone when not on property.

Responsible for ensuring the employees adhere to the HEAT Standards

Other duties as assigned.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

Management abilities demonstrated in directing the IT department.

Supervisory Skills; maintaining a professional working relationship among all team members.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Exercising sound independent judgment and discretion.

Ability to motivate employees and solve problems.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 years in computers, networks, software, solutions and computer operations.

College Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a similar analytical field or equivalent work experience.

Valid Gaming License

The primary duty of the Manager of Information Technology is to manage the operation of the Company’s Information Technology department.  Among other duties, the manager of Information Technology manages all aspects of the Company’s computer and telephone systems, including the mainframe, personal computers and the respective networks, hardware and software, and directs the employees who work in the IT department.
