HR Shared Services Associate

Provides centralized human resource services spanning payroll, benefits, general human resource policy and other transactions supporting employees across all Pactiv Evergreen locations. Performs clerical and administrative or specialized support tasks in an office/field/remote service center setting.

Responsibilities:

Responds to inquiries received into HR Shared Service Center including but not limited to; HR policy, life, health, disability insurance, medical, dependent care spending accounts, COBRA, payroll, income continuance, and other paid time off as well as retirement and pension plans.

Ensures the appropriate documentation is prepared so that new hire transactions and existing employee changes can be processed.

Ensures efficiency of service center operations, technology, and transaction processes.

Establishes or assists to establish standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administration of human resource programs.

Coordinates services with various human resource information systems, human resource program managers, and technology specialists.

Collects, reconciles, and submits payroll data for select employee groups.

Manages the invoice process; works with Procurement and AP teams to establish new vendors and requisitions, process invoices and follow up on necessary items.

Other duties as assigned.

  • Maintaining employee files and accurate employee records
  • Prepare new hire employee files and orientation packets
  • Assemble new hire and new employee orientation
  • Maintain employee human resources files, records, and information
  • Completing filing of employee documentation in employee files
  • Initiating new employee background checks
  • Support the human resources manager with all campus human resources functions
  • Provide administrative support for human resources
  • Maintain various human resources, employment and benefits related files
  • Maintain accurate current employee confidential information in employee files
  • Create employees files and maintain confidential employee personnel records
  • Prepare new employee benefit files and packets for weekly new employee benefits meeting
  • Maintain employee personnel, benefit and payroll files
  • Perform human resources and administrative tasks
  • Manage employee files in WD
  • Maintain applicant paperwork and employee files
  • Prepare new hire personnel files
  • Maintaining of employee benefit files & updating of employee payroll records
  • Schedule new employee orientation, exit interviews
  • Maintain employee personnel and benefit files
