Pet food manufacturer based in the Lehigh Valley is seeking to add a Technical Support Technician to our staff.
Looking for candidates who are highly motivated, professional and who are customer service oriented with a minimum 3-5 years of applicable experience.
The Technical Support Specialist role is responsible for providing technical support to team members across the enterprise, supporting a mix of Windows and Apple computers; hardware troubleshooting and repair, assist team with application support, assist in network administration and general IT projects.
The technician will participate on a monthly rotating on-call schedule where the technician is contacted after hours on nights or weekend for critical outages, will also participate in some weekend work as scheduled.
Ability to follow written and verbal direction and established processes/policies.
Must be positive, professional, self-motivated, and resourceful.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Strong record-keeping skill: ability to follow through and document issues and resolutions.
Strong TCP/IP troubleshooting skills.
Problem solving, and critical thinking skills are crucial.
Strong support knowledge of core applications, such as Windows 10, Server 2012 & 2016,
Apple OSX, MS Office.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot a variety of third-party software.
Strong understanding of the following technologies:
MS Active Directory, Exchange Online, Exchange 2013, SharePoint, SQL Administration, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, SNMP, VPN, Office 365
Additional experience with the following technologies is a plus but not required:
Macola, Wisys, EDI, Firewall, IT Certifications
