The University of Nevada, Reno, School of Medicine (UNR Med) seeks a dynamic individual to join our team as a Faculty Recruiter to recruit and source talent including physicians / medically credentialed faculty as well as administrative and leadership faculty.
The Faculty Recruiter actively recruits and sources candidates for open positions and develops a pipeline of prospects with very limited oversight; advises and collaborates with senior management regarding physician and APRN job descriptions, recruitment advertising, staffing, budgetary compliance, hiring strategies, search and selection committee management, as well as consultative services to departments, affiliated clinics and/or healthcare organizations associated with UNR Med.
The Faculty Recruiter works with the Diversity and Inclusion office to execute the talent sourcing and outreach strategy in support of the office goals, diversity and inclusion related activities; participates in council and committee work and serves as a representative at school events; researches and suggests search firms when vendor services are needed; and supervises classified staff.
The total compensation package includes a negotiable competitive salary, moving allowance (if applicable), a rich retirement plan, health insurance options that include dental and vision, life insurance, long-term disability, thirty (30) days of sick leave provided upon start date and two (2) days of sick leave accrued per full month after the first year of service, two (2) days of annual leave accrued each full month, along with many other benefits. High School Graduation and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Associate’s Degree and three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Master’s Degree and one (1) year of relevant work experience.
Relevant Experience: recruiting and candidate sourcing or experience in the medical field.
This position requires a valid driver’s license.
Experience with physician recruiting and sourcing.
Requires travel up to 50% of the time, including travel both within and outside of the state of Nevada. This includes travel to rural areas.
Requires a variable work schedule to include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
