Child & Youth Counselor/ Social Worker
Provide Therapeutic Services to children identified as seriously emotionally disturbed within an afterschool setting.
Provide the following:

Crisis Intervention

Family Education
-
Therapeutic services
-
Classroom coaching
-
Skill Building
-
Family consultation
-
Linkage to community services
-
Documentation of Services
-
Submission of billing
Knowledge
-
Strong ability to communicate in orally & in writing
-
Knowledge of services and systems available in the community
-
Skill in evaluations, observation and assessments
-
Knowledge of child and Adolescents
-
Skills in establishing rapport
This position requires you to work Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm all qualified candidates should be available to work this schedule.
Salary $23.48
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree and combination of education and experience 7 years in the filed utilizing the required skills and knowledge associated with Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker.

Clinician II requires licensed LSCW, LCP or LPC eligible
(must have be receiving clinical supervision (be a resident in counseling or a supervisee in Social Work registered with the VA Board of Professions)
Employees are required to provide the following at time of hire
Certified Transcripts, CPR certification, TB test, VA or NC driver’s license, Car insurance and Driving Transcripts
