Commercial Collections Specialist
Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged on the search for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in the professional services industry located in The Loop. Our client offers a broad range of products to their clients and a diverse culture to work in. They provide stability and success to their employees and pride themselves on teamwork to meet a high quality of work. The Accounts Payable Specialist will work on a small team of accounting professionals and report into the Accounting Manager. They will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, processing expense reports, and assisting with month end reporting. After successfully completing the temporary period, the Accounts Payable Specialist will be considered for the permanent role. The ideal candidate will be able to interview and begin immediately after.
Responsibilities:
· Match, enter, process/post, and review invoices, credits, and expense reports for all companies
· Process payments transactions for all ACHs or Wire transfers
· Research vendor statements, resolve vendor and/or invoice issues
· Process all expense reports and initiate reimbursements, ensuring compliance to company policies
· Create journal entries and perform account reconciliations
· Special projects as assigned
