PRODUCT MANAGER OF MOBILE PRODUCTS
Any Major US City

SUMMARY:

  • We’re looking for a highly motivated Product Manager of Mobile Products to join our growing Novo Insurance team. As the Product Manager if Mobile Products, you will drive the overall customer experience, roadmap, and launch of new features of our mobile products. As part of this role, you work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientist, operations, legal, product marketing and researchers to build products.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, manage, and adapt Novo mobile product roadmap to meet quarterly OKRs.
  • Execute usability studies, research, market analysis and other feedback into product requirements to enhance user experience with prioritization.
  • Lead a team of engineers, QA, researchers, and designers to drive the full product life cycle, spanning research, ideation, design, implementation, testing, and iteration.
  • Break down work into sprints and ensure team meets execution OKRs.
  • Build out analytics capabilities and perform ongoing and ad-hoc analysis to assess product performance and extract insights.
  • Have deep empathy for your users and are always looking to surprise and delight your users. You want to build product experiences that go beyond people’s expectations, and you care about the entire experience of using your products including handling privacy by design, not solely how the product looks and feels.
  • Biased towards action, where you make decisions quickly, and own & measure the outcomes of those decisions.
  • Continually seek qualitative user feedback to product decisions; be the voice of the customer in providing delightful experience.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of product management experience building mobile products (iOS and/or Android).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to quickly absorb user needs, technical concepts and effectively simplify and communicate them to a non-technical audience in executing their goals.
  • 3+ years of experience in working with the remote teams handling different cultural and time zone differences.
  • Proven ability to evaluate user experience trends, modern technologies, articulate customer insights, test, learn, and make clear, data insights driven recommendations.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Deep understanding of both legacy auto insurance products and insure-tech products would be a plus.
