     We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Director that is ready to advance their career to provide hands-on leadership, strategic guidance and management direction for all aspects of the facility's operations while ensuring our client’s mission, vision, values, goals and strategic direction are executed. The Executive Director is responsible for the successful, ongoing overall operation of the organization. This individual will perform a variety of duties which will support operations with an emphasis on customer service; coordinating work within departments, reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information.  Ensures compliance with all Department of Human Services, Department of Health, CMS and other legal and regulatory requirements.

  • The Executive Director is responsible, within the limit of the authority delegated, for executing contracts and commitments on behalf of the facility and will recommend appropriate actions on such matters requiring a corporate officer signature.
  • The facility Executive Director is accountable to the President for proper interpretation and fulfillment of his functions, responsibilities and authority.
  • As delegated in this job description or elsewhere in writing, the Executive Director exercises the authority of the chief executive in relation to the facility assigned to him and keeps the President informed as to use of these delegated authorities.
  • Transparent and high integrity leadership.
  • Solid, hands-on, budget management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making and reporting.
  • Strong organizational abilities including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation.
  • Ability to convey a vision of organization’s strategic future to staff, board, volunteers and donors.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.
  • Strong public speaking ability.

Experience:

  • 5 Years’ Experience as an administrator or management experience in a long-term care community.
  • Experience in operations, CCRC sales & marketing or public relations is preferred.

Education/Training:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related field; Current NHA is preferred, but not required.
  • Personal Care Administrator license required.
