Cascade has been providing behavioral health services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives.
Cascade currently has five treatment locations throughout Lewis County.
The Evaluation and Treatment Center houses our inpatient program, a 16-bed secure unit, and a 6 bed Crisis Stabilization Unit.
Friday-Saturday, 12:00pm - 10:30pm
This position is eligible for a $2/hour shift differential (Shift differential includes hours worked 7:00pm - 6:59am and hours worked on weekends and Cascade designated holidays).
$2500 sign-on bonus on first paycheck after completing orientation and onboarding trainings; should employment end prior to one year, bonus must be paid back at a pro-rated basis.
What You Need to be Eligible to Get the Job Done:
Washington State Department of Health Registered Nurse Licensure is required.
2 years RN experience, Behavioral Health experience preferred.
Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check. Also a national background check if you haven't lived in WA State consecutively the last 3 years.
Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team.
Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
Must maintain current home telephone and address on file with the HR office.

What You’ll Do:
Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Interact with patients, families, physicians, teammates, contractors, and vendors must be in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional.
Demonstrate continued competence in caring for individuals based on age-specific and cultural needs.
Observe and recording clients’ behavior.
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for creating and evaluating customized care plans.
Maintaining reports of clients’ medical histories, and monitoring changes in their condition.
Carry out the requisite treatments and medications.
Check the stock on a regular basis for maintaining the inventory level, and placing orders if required.
Adhere with the protocols, norms, rules and regulations in order to maintain complete medical records.
Maintain hygienic and safe working environment in compliance with facility procedures.
Conduct research for improving the nursing practices and healthcare outcomes.
Discuss treatment with pharmacists and physicians in the critical cases.
Keep an eye on each and every aspect of client care that includes physical activity plus proper diet.
Resolve clients’ problems and fulfilling their requirements by applying multifaceted team strategy.
Attend educational workshops for enhancing professional and technical knowledge.
Maintains client charts and documents in the client record.
Must be familiar with EHR, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Communicate effectively with clients and hospital personnel.
