General Labor Position


*Looking to fill this position immediately.


l.  Job Purpose


  • Inspect bottles coming out of the filler room for good quality product to be labeled for finish product.

ll.  Job Functions


  • Ensure GMPS and safety regulations are the followed at all times
  • Ensure incoming bottles are clean and sealed properly 
  • Reject bad quality product
  • Communicate any concerns (mechanical, quality, etc.) to the filler operator and Supervisor/Lead
  • Keep work are needs organized and clean throughout the shift 

lll.  Requirements


  • Lift 50 pounds
  • Stand, bend, kneel and lift repeatedly in a safe manner and for long period of times
  • Maintain a positive attitude in the workplace at all times
  • Work independently as well as with others as a team at all levels 
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Arrive on time and maintain good attendance to ensure production requirements are met
  • Work the schedule/assigned times and required overtime for position; be flexible to work different shifts to cover production needs
  • Pass a drug test 
  • Work and learn in a fast pace environment
  • Perform basic math operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentage calculations, etc.
  • Stand 90% of the time

Work Experience


At least 1 year of demonstrated success in production in a manufacturing capacity.


The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a safety culture, high speed packaging, food manufacturing, GMP, HACCP, and employee relations. Experience in TPM is a must. 



Safety


The ideal candidate has experience with OSHA rules & regulations and observes all safety and security procedures. The candidate understands the importance of safety in a manufacturing setting and reports potentially unsafe conditions at the workplace on a consistence basis. 



Physical Demands


While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel,  and to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and occasionally climb, balance, drive or operate a forklift. The employee must frequently lift and/or and depth perception and adjust focus.
