Sarstedt, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of laboratory consumables, medical devices and instruments, is looking for a Sales Representative to join their Lab Automation Division team.
Responsible for the direct sales of Sarstedt’s Lab Automation Equipment.
Travels to customer sites to promote and increase sales of Sarstedt’s Lab Automation equipment.
Provides lab workflow and design solutions to customers utilizing Sarstedt’s equipment.
Creates PowerPoint presentations and quotations to present solutions to customers.
Maintains ongoing communication with customers to ensure their satisfaction with existing equipment and explores opportunities to sale additional equipment needed within the lab.
Maintains customer retention through sale of new equipment or service contracts.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field from a four-year college or university; and three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The ideal candidate would have experience in capital equipment sales OR sales experience combined with some mechanical / technical experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
This position requires up to 75% national travel and the ability to operate a motor vehicle. Occasional weekend travel may be required.
