Seeking Per Diem Adjunct Counselors
Hiring for All Shifts
All Adjunct Counselors are contacted to provide coverage on a per diem basis. There is not a guaranteed schedule and coverage requests are based on program and client need.
We have three programs in our Intensive Services Division that require adjunct coverage - the Domestic Violence Program (DVP), Milner House and Young Adult Services (YAS). These sites are 24/7 facilities and Adjunct Counselors may work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts as well as provide coverage for weekends and holidays.
DVP has two emergency shelters for adults and children located in Danielson and Willimantic, CT.
Milner House is a licensed adult group home located in Moosup, CT.
YAS has three sites including one 24/7 Transitional Living House, serving young adults 18-25 years old, located in the Willimantic, CT area.
Opportunities are available to work all shifts, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, including weekends and holidays.
The hourly rate for this position is $16.00. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to transport clients in own car is required. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelors in a human service field preferred. Skills: Ability to work in a variety of situations, interface with other programs and community providers and demonstrate the judgment to access additional supports as necessary.
