Bookkeeping Manager. Consulting firm in Miami. You will function as a self-directed and experienced Bookkeeping Special Projects Manager to oversee Bookkeeping The Bookkeeping Special Projects Manager is responsible for managing the bookkeeping entity by providing information, primarily financial in nature, about all company activities that will assist management, its shareholders and others in making informed company business decisions.

You will function as, coach, confidant, leader, guide and mentor to owners of solo law firms who are already enrolled in our program(s). You will be part of a team consisting of yourself and other team members who serve as the Fractional C-Suite for our clients to help them address different parts of their business.

Solo and small law firm owners benefit greatly when we provide them with assistance by offering them with the strategic direction and accountability, they need to drive the growth of their firm. We provide that assistance by having members of our team serve as their outside CEO, COO & CFO. You, as the Bookkeeping Special Projects Manager will work in partnership with our team members to help law firm owners build the financial infrastructure, they need to accommodate the growth of their firms.

Responsibilities

The Bookkeeping Special Projects Manager position is responsible for developing Bookkeepiing. It will be your job to lead this team. You will be the primary guide for our Bookkeeping Liaisons and help them navigate our curriculum, to understand our culture and the quintessence representation each of our members is our company. More specifically, it will be your job to use our methods combined with your own life-experience, creativity and intelligence to understand and help your team and each of our clients reach the next stage of their law firm’s growth.

  • Lead a team of professionals through empowerment and developing employees to achieve objectives
    • Teach, Coach and Guide and Prepare Bookkeeping Liaison
  • Lead process improvement initiatives through implementation
    • Establish and maintain systems, controls and workflows that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data
  • Review resumes, perform phone screens, interview and hire bookkeeping employees
  • Create Workshop curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing Director to generate marketing material for bookkeeping entity as needed
  • Oversees the activities of the Bookkeeping Liaison for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports
  • Manage the Bookkeeping Liaison by providing resources and feedback regarding performance
  • Consistently display integrity, responsibility, accountability, teamwork and ethics
  • Availability to law firm owners, to address their questions and concerns
  • Assign accounts to Bookkeeping Liaison
  • Monitor workload of Bookkeeping Liaison and redistribute accounts as needed to improve efficiency
  • Handle any customer complaints
  • Able and willing to work over 40 hours a week. This is a very full-time job – requiring over 40 hours per week (often 50 hours per week, for many on our team)
