Job Duties Include:

Perform a variety of routine administrative support duties within Recruitment; research, collect, and compile data supporting information requests from Metropolitan staff and/or general public

Maintain comprehensive records, files, logs, listings, and related data

Assist in reviewing a variety of documents and correspondence for accuracy and completeness

Learns and assists with preparing and reviewing a variety of correspondence, documents, files, and/or records for accuracy and completeness; ensures proper signing authority and distributes documents to appropriate staff

Learns and assists with data entry function; maintains inputs, corrects and updates data

Learns and assists in maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, with making travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports

Assists with day to day operations within assigned area of responsibility

Attend and participate in a variety of meetings; prepares agendas; disseminates information to staff with special projects and assignments as need

Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field

2 years of experience with HR

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook

  • Maintaining employee files and accurate employee records
  • Prepare new hire employee files and orientation packets
  • Assemble new hire and new employee orientation
  • Maintain employee human resources files, records, and information
  • Completing filing of employee documentation in employee files
  • Initiating new employee background checks
  • Support the human resources manager with all campus human resources functions
  • Provide administrative support for human resources
  • Maintain various human resources, employment and benefits related files
  • Maintain accurate current employee confidential information in employee files
  • Create employees files and maintain confidential employee personnel records
  • Prepare new employee benefit files and packets for weekly new employee benefits meeting
  • Perform human resources and administrative tasks
  • Manage employee files in WD
  • Maintain applicant paperwork and employee files
  • Maintaining of employee benefit files & updating of employee payroll records
  • Schedule new employee orientation, exit interviews
  • Maintain employee personnel and benefit files
  • Organize employee payroll data for processing
  • Supporting the administration and employee human resources compliance requirements
