Advantage Solutions is looking for a self-motivated and results driven Retail Sales Representative/Consultant to work in the grocery retail industry representing Mars Wrigley, the world’s leading manufacturer of chocolate, chewing gum, mints, and fruity confections.

This is a driving position that requires the use of your personal vehicle and the ability to drive to and from multiple Grocery and Target store locations throughout your workday.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as Account Manager for key grocery store account
  • Develop and leverage relationships with key decision makers   
  • Educate store managers on merchandising by sharing data and analytics on sales volume, seasonal profits, and promotions to maximize their sales revenue         
  • Increase sales volume through promotional activity by selling and building displays, creating themes with related items to support holiday/special promo events, and making plan-o-gram adjustments when necessary  
  • Suggest items of value to build customer loyalty and identify opportunities for incremental display space to drive sales volume
  • Share samples of new product(s) with store personnel and develop a plan for where product(s) will be displayed
  • Ensure and increase proper product placement that delivers best visibility while supporting a positive brand image while ensuring all shelf signs are accurate and match the products
  • Scan all Mars Wrigley product to ensure all products are displayed in accordance with planogram(s) and merchandising display standards
  • Cross merchandise with incremental displays 
  • Ensure all shelf signs are accurate and match the products
  • Take note of any out-of-stock merchandise and review with store managers prior to leaving store
  • Create impactful action plans and develop strategies to close sales gaps
  • Accurate and timely completion of sales data and reports

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent  
  • Driver’s License and Auto Insurance in good standing
  • Previous retail sales experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills and daily Internet access
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency
  • Proficient with technology and comfortable using a company iPAD or tablet
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to the ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead, stoop, squat repetitively and for long periods of time. Ability to repetitively push/pull and/or lift/carry at least 50 pounds.
