Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager
Dynamic, growing insurance agency needs an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to service an existing book of business. Experience including; account setup, internal underwriting, new business marketing, policy issuance, cross sell, year round customer service, renewals and remarketing. Must maintain a valid Property & Casualty insurance license in Pennsylvania and have prior experience working in personal lines at the independent agency level and 2 (two) plus years of with AMS 360 or Applied Systems.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, abide by all state insurance laws, insurance carrier regulations and agency procedures. Must be able to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate designated new business and set up new accounts in the agency management system
- Service and maintain the designated book of business
- Process renewals in a timely fashion
- Negotiate with underwriters on acceptability, coverages, pricing and terms
- Secure coverage offers from carriers and review for accuracy
- Complete applications for new business and process renewals
- Quote, remarket, review and process personal policies
- Communicate with clients at policy renewal to review coverages
- Ability to understand the best fit for the related industry
- Experience with home, auto, motorcycle, watercraft, multiple homes, ATV and RV policies
- Follow and abide by all agency procedures and guidelines
- 2 (two) plus years of experience servicing personal insurance accounts
- Must possess and maintain a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license in the state of Pennsylvania
- College Degree Preferred or equivalent experience will be considered
- Proficient with AMS 360 or Applied Systems
- Proficient in servicing and processing new business in personal lines
- Strong negotiating and organizational skills
- Must be able to process business insurance proposals
- Professional appearance, attitude and work ethic
- Background and Reference Check will be conducted
