Lead Maintenance

How good are you at fixing things? How about your customer service? Can you be a great coach to your team?

If you can answer these questions with a “yes" and absolutely no hesitation, then this position will be perfect for you. We are currently seeking a Service Manager to join our team at Olympus Property. The Service Manager will be responsible for the daily maintenance operations of an apartment community while achieving property maintenance goals. You, and your team, under your direction will ensure apartment units, common areas and grounds are properly maintained. You will manage turn-key operations and schedule and supervise repair/renovation work of both maintenance employees and outside contractors.


  • Maintaining the speed and quality of turnovers, renovations, and maintenance request response of entire team

  • Preventive maintenance of all systems and equipment including; scheduling, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components

  • Selecting, training, assigning, coaching, and disciplining employees

  • Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards

  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations;


  • Strong hands-on, supervisory, and organizational skills

  • Broad knowledge of residential building maintenance

  • Driven ability to lead a successful team of Maintenance professionals

  • Great at multi-tasking with ongoing processes on schedule and on budget

  • Ability to set and demonstrate a high standard for work quality, customer relations, customer service, appearance, and demeanor.

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Must have good diagnostic skills and be able to perform maintenance repair work on appliances, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and pool systems

  • Ability to perform carpentry, painting, wallpapering, sheetrock, roofing, and pest control (as required)

  • 3-5 years related experience and/or training, or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
