Opportunity: The Mom Project is helping to source candidates for the above client who is looking for a Human Resources Manager @ Global Manufacturer.

Commitment Level:  40 hours per week, on-site




Our Women's Work Initiative partner company has an opening for a Human Resources Manager who will provide onsite support at their Madera manufacturing facility. This is both a union and non-union manufacturing plant. The HR Manager will work the leadership team to drive strategic initiatives. This position will have a responsibility to design and implement strategic human resource initiatives designed to drive continuous improvement of HR and site metrics.


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Responsible for driving talent strategies that will improve the competitive standing of the business.
- Strategy development of HR policies, programs, and systems. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in HR functions and processes.
- Overall responsibility for HR Compliance
- Ensure strategies are in place for identification and remediation of gaps in HR related risks.
- Be a resource for leadership as well as to the HR team in coaching, guiding, and policy interpretation.
- Be a point of escalation for identifying and resolving employee relations issues.
- Use of data analysis and metrics to drive business strategies for labor.
- Managing special projects as needed.


Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- At least 2 years of previous experience working or supporting a manufacturing or industrial environment
- At least 3 years of Human Resources experience with increased responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of California Labor laws
