Job Description

Our client, a regional banking institution, is looking for a Branch Operation Support to join their Stevens Point team! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Under limited supervision, the Branch Operations Support Specialist provides resolution to a diverse range of complex issues. 
  • Accountable to perform as a subject matter expert across business lines and provide direction on all applications to mitigate fraud /risk and to ensure compliance and operational integrity. 
  • Play a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience during every interaction. 
  • Provide ongoing support to all colleagues through multiple channels including phone, service request fulfillments, emails and Instant Messaging. 
  • Additionally, using the extensive Retail and Commercial Banking knowledge, monitor and analyze calls to identify potential risk areas that may need review to ensure limited exposure to the bank.
  • Perform as a subject matter expert across business lines to provide resolution to a diverse range of complex issues on more than 25 applications to mitigate fraud/risk and to ensure compliance and operational integrity. 
  • This includes being a liaison for the legal department and performing legal document analysis. 
  • Accountable for problem solving and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Identify problem areas/process improvements and advise management team with potential solutions.
  • Identify and recommend procedural enhancements to ensure alignment with the direction of the bank and regulatory requirements.
  • Job Requirements

    Skills & Qualifications: 
    • Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Business, Finance, or related field of study
    • Banking or business , preferably in an operations, sales and/or customer service role.
