Nurse Practitioner
Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury and pediatric subspecialties medical center, is looking for a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner to become part of our Orthopedic Hand Surgery team and work closely with hand surgeons, and provide care for orthopaedic patients within the scope of practice.
Responsibilities include attending specialty orthopaedic clinics, assessing and treating outpatients (including scheduled patients and those with urgent problems), performing pre-operative history and physical exams; providing case management support for selected patients, and possibly supporting clinical research projects. Schedule for this position varies and may require occasional early start (6:00 am for pre-operative history and physical exams).

Previous orthopaedic and/or pediatric experience as an NP is strongly preferred. Spanish language proficiency is desirable. Must be eligible to practice in the state of California.
