About the Company and Opportunity:

  • This role will work primarily in the Meetings Department and responsibilities include providing multifaceted support for meetings / events. Specifically this position requires assistance in staffing meetings registration, meetings set up, logistics & meetings database administration via Salesforce software. Additionally, the Meetings Assistant will provide administrative support as needed to the Human Resources Director.

Overview of the Nonprofit Human Resources Assistant role:

  • This role will work primarily in the Meetings Department and responsibilities include providing multifaceted support for meetings / events.
  • Specifically this position requires assistance in staffing meetings registration, meetings set up, logistics & meetings database administration via Salesforce software.
  • Additionally, the Meetings Assistant will provide administrative support as needed to the Human Resources Director.

Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Assistant:

  • At least one year of demonstrated experience required providing administrative support.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce not required but a plus, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel required, experience with MS PowerPoint, MS Project are desirable.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) and excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of business, with a strong orientation towards providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented and have demonstrated effective follow-up and research skills.
