Strategic plans call for KIP to embark on an aggressive growth strategy emphasizing both new market sales and new product introductions.


 


The Opportunity


With a very strong senior leadership team in place, KIP America is positioned to take its business to the next level of growth and opportunity.  This includes expanding the KIP distribution channel with new and existing products as well as working to increase presence into the corporate markets. A key to the success of this growth strategy will be the selection of a hands-on, proven business development leader skilled in customer relations, consultative solutions, sales, and territory sales management.  Joining KIP America as a Technical Sales Representative for the Midwestern United States Region, the chosen candidate will be a well-rounded business professional with experience in sales and sales leadership. 


 


Reporting Structure


This position reports to the Vice President of Sales for North America.


 


Key Responsibilities


The selected individual will be responsible for implementing the sales and business development activities within their territory.


 


Specifically, this individual will support all elements of KIP America’s sales efforts for the KIP product line.  This includes:


 


           Enrich customer relationships through industry leading sales support to grow the current KIP America dealer distributor channels.  Expand the KIP dealer network by actively seeking new business opportunities in targeted geographic areas.


 


           Responsible for the sales of new and replacement equipment into existing accounts and new market segments.


 


           Implement both short and long-term strategic sales initiatives.


 


           Develop the dealer network’s product knowledge to support market entry of both new and existing products into new or existing markets.


 


Position Requirements


           An Associate’s degree is preferred plus two or more years of sales experience, with a significant portion of time spent in the small format or wide format copy industry.


 


           A demonstrated ability to create and execute territory business objectives.


 


           A demonstrated ability to sell in a consultive solutions approach to maximize business performance.


 


           High level presentation with professional product demonstration skills required.


 


           The ability to lead product training.


 


           A proven record of taking ownership of issues and using available resources to meet goals and resolve issues.


 


           Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and priorities in a rapidly growing environment.


 


           Knowledge of standard Microsoft applications and territorial database software applications required.


 


              Ability to travel 50 – 60 percent of the time.


 


Position Benefits


The compensation package for this position includes a base salary with a monthly commission incentive plan, travel expenses, and cell phone benefits.  KIP offers an extensive benefit package which includes health and dental insurance, 401K with company matching, paid time off and more.
