What you'll do
ParishSoft is seeking a Sales Development and Account Representative with a passion for partnering with Catholic dioceses, parishes, and organizations.  This position is responsible for identifying prospective customers, lead qualification, opportunity management, and sales reporting.  This role will also have responsibility for selling our parish software solutions to new and existing customers.  The ideal candidate should be driven and passionate about serving clients and helping them meet their organizational objectives.    
 
Who you are
Passionate, Capable Professional:
  1. Able to effectively communicate with various parish personnel, including pastors, business managers, and other staff and advisors
  2. Able to establish credibility and rapport
  3. Action-oriented professional with a high sense of urgency and a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach
  4. Ability to quickly learn and understand ParishSOFT products and services and know their application in the Catholic Church
 Proven History of Successfully Driving Sales:
  1. Ability to create a pipeline of new opportunities and progress the opportunities to closure
  2. Ability to successfully cross-sell and up-sell new software products and services to new and existing customers
  3. Ability to identify necessary sponsors within the client and build relationships
 
Outstanding Communication Skills:
  1. Effective communicator with the ability to articulate a clear vision and value proposition to potential customers and partners, as well as internal stakeholders
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Ability to make outbound calls and generate new business opportunities to fill the pipeline
  4. Manage all aspects of the lead qualification process
  5. Collaborate with sales reps to effectively target and connect with prospects
  6. Effectively present and sell the ParishSOFT software solutions
  7. Maintain and enter information in CRM tool
 
 
Preferred Skills and Experience
  1. Passion to learn new technologies and processes related to sales
  2. Goal oriented and driven to meet and exceed targets
  3. Excellent time management skills, highly organized, and coachable
  4. Positive attitude
  5. Excellent listening skills
  6. Understanding of churches and faith-based organizations
Required Education and Experience
  1. College graduate with business degree or equivalent
  2. Successful sales or related experience (1+ years)
