The incumbent has responsibility for the daily administration of Trade deductions including Promotional bill-backs, scan-downs, slotting, new store allowances etc. and scanning in the Accounts Receivable Department.
Researching, analyzing and offsetting all trade deductions.
Running sales analysis to validate quantities deducted.
Validating Promotions in AFS, confirming all parameters are met and approvals issued.
Filing disputes if deductions are not valid.
Preparing offset package with all necessary documentation to meet Dept and Audit standards.
Maintaining detailed spreadsheets on all open items on their customer portfolio.
Scanning, distributing and filing open deduction paperwork.
Assisting in special projects as needed.
Minimum 5 yrs. Deduction Specialist Experience
Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.Proficient computer, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Excel including pivot tables and V-lookups.
Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and a willingness to learn new things.
Good communication skills and ability to work with various people and teams in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines to enhance the business and in keeping with PIM’s values and culture.
