Seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist for a growing Oilfield Services company in Downtown Houston, TX!


This is a Direct Hire/Permanent Role; Not Temporary/Contract


$65-75K DOE

This is a crucial, standalone role for the organization and will require an experienced professional to manage benefits and compensation in all aspects!


The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will be responsible for overseeing, managing and administering our employees' rewards, perks and benefits. This role will be developing programs to improve performance, engagement and satisfaction of our employees. Additionally, this role will be analyzing and determining compensation for all existing and new positions within the company nationwide.


Compensation and Benefits Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Design compensation packages nationwide based on business goals and strategy
  • Create a consistent compensation guideline that matches our work and organizational culture
  • Create and analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications
  • Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks
  • Assess employees needs by conducting organizational surveys
  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current laws and regulations
  • Analyze and determine decisions on benefit providers and benefits offered
  • Administer benefits

Compensation and Benefits Specialist Requirements:

  • Bachelors in HR, Business Administration or similar field
  • Experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices
  • 3+ years of ADP experience
  • Previous experience with benefit brokers and choosing plans
  • Good understanding of full cycle hiring process
  • Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations
  • Hands on experience with HR software (HRIS)
  • Hands on experience with quantitative and qualitative research
  • Willingness to take charge on analytics and areas of improvement
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions required
