Description

 HR Coordinator / Recruiter

Job Summary: Sources, recruits, screens, and interviews candidates to fill organizational roles. This position also supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs and policies.

Reports to: Regional HR Manager, dotted line to General Manager; Corporate Recruiter.
 
Primary responsibilities:

Job Duties Consults with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates. Reviews and assesses applicants' education, experience, training, and other qualifications. Schedules interviews and coordinates interviewers or panels. Tests and scores applicants and gathers feedback from other interviewers. Informs candidates of job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities. Prepares and extends job offers. Verifies employment eligibility, gathers necessary paperwork, and performs reference and background checks as needed. Notifies applicants of rejection. Travels to high schools, technical schools, universities, job fairs, and other recruiting venues to recruit talented individuals to join Acuren.
 
 Secondary Responsibilities:

 Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance. Completes personnel transactions and maintains associated records. Collects and analyzes internal and external information in order to compare the organizations HR practices to those prevailing in the market. Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations and works with payroll to ensure accuracy of employee benefit information in company HRIS.

Core Skills: Must be reliable and highly organized. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as being a team player are essential to success in the role.

  • Proficient in computer software programs such as, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and database systems.
  • Experience with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners.
  • Knowledge of human resources laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of interviewing techniques.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn recruiting and networking.
  • Must be willing and able to travel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to make independent recommendations to effectively resolve workplace issues by using judgment that is consistent with company standards, practices and the law.

  • Highly detail oriented with exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic with ability to work overtime when needed.
